TimeCardRobot is designed with your privacy as a priority. The app stores your data on your Mac and syncs it to your personal iCloud account so it stays available across your devices. We do not collect, transmit, or share your personal information with any third parties.
All production data, crew member information, time entries, and generated documents are stored on your Mac using Apple's SwiftData framework. TimeCardRobot also uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync this data to your personal iCloud account, which keeps your productions up to date across every Mac signed into the same Apple ID.
Your data is stored in your iCloud private database, which is governed by Apple's iCloud Privacy Policy. We do not have access to the contents of your iCloud database — not your production names, crew information, time entries, or any other data you enter into the app. Apple handles encryption, transport, and storage of synced data.
You can disable iCloud sync at any time in System Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → TimeCardRobot. When sync is off, the app continues to work fully with data stored only on that Mac.
TimeCardRobot does not collect any personal data, usage analytics, or tracking information. We do not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or any form of user tracking within the app.
TimeCardRobot uses Apple's iCloud / CloudKit for device-to-device sync, as described above. It does not integrate with or send data to any other third-party services, analytics platforms, or cloud storage providers. All calculations, PDF generation, and email composition happen entirely on your device — only the data you've chosen to store is synced via iCloud.
TimeCardRobot is distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple may collect certain information as part of the App Store experience, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy. We do not have access to any data Apple may collect through the App Store.
The data you enter into TimeCardRobot — including production details, crew member names, time entries, and pay information — remains under your control at all times. You may:
TimeCardRobot is a professional tool designed for use by adults in the entertainment industry. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
